History
International Placement Services LC was founded in 1981 by Richard J. Eichhorn. Mr. Eichhorn was formerly the area president of Arthur J. Gallagher, a national broker.
The Company began operations as an Excess & Surplus Lines Wholesale Broker providing virtually all commercial lines of coverage. We currently represent over 80 domestic and foreign markets, including select standard lines carriers and are committed to providing the retail producer a facility that is responsive to their needs. We recognize that each risk is unique and will often need a “fresh” look or specialized approach in order to tailor a policy that truly addresses the needs and concerns of all parties to the transaction.
Our office is organized by function, so depending on your need, we have someone who best understands the type of risk and exposures you are dealing with and experience in the marketplace, to increase your odds of success.
Our programs and markets are designed to accommodate a wide variety of risks. We will work closely with each producer to develop a mutually acceptable solution to underwriting even the most difficult accounts.
