We can assist in the formation and oversight of the following Captive or Rent-a-Captive Programs:
- Single Insured Captives/Rent-a-Captives – Accounts generating casualty premiums of at least $750,000. Typically WC driven but can also include GL and auto.
- Group Captives – Homogeneous or heterogeneous groups that can generate $3,000,000 - $5,000,000 in the first year. Can include WC, GL and Auto.
- Agency Captives – Allows you to capture the underwriting profits from your book of business. Includes both homogeneous and heterogeneous programs
- “Small” Group Rent-a-Captive Programs – Typically WC. Depending on the carrier, minimum premiums for each account range from $100,000 - $250,000, with total first year program premiums ranging from $1,500,000 - $3,000,000.
We also have access to an Existing Group Rent-a-Captive Program – A loss sensitive WC program for low to medium hazard accounts with premiums starting at $150,000.
